Michael Liebe is founder of Booster Space and head of the International Games Week Berlin. He is a Berlin based brand builder and consultant for the games, online technology and “new media” industries. Moreover, he is Media Coordinator at Startup Germany, Ambassador of the industry network, games.net berlinbrandenburg and amongst others, responsible for the contents of the Berlin-meets-Poland project. In the past 8+ years he has initiated the Action Day for New Talent in Tech, Digital Business and Media, Womenize!, the industry network, games.net berlin-brandenburg, the indie games and art festival, A MAZE., the Digital Games Research Centre of the University of Potsdam (DIGAREC) as well as the Computer Games Collection of European Media Studies at the University of Potsdam, the European Masters program, Ludic Interfaces and many other events and programs surrounding digital media industry and culture. In 2013 he was Project Lead at Germany's leading game developer's event, DGT 13 – Deutsche Gamestage and also worked on the German Israel Congress as well as the International Media Convention. From 2010 to 2012 he was Advisor – New Media at the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and responsible for marketing and networking for the “New Media” industry in the German capital region.
