James Gwertzman

James is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with 15 years of experience in the game industry. Before founding PlayFab, James founded two game studios, one of which was acquired in 2005 by PopCap. At PopCap, he founded and led PopCap Asia, PopCap's first F2P studio. Earlier in his career, James worked on server technologies at Microsoft. James is an advisor to Code.org, where he led in 2013 the first Hour of Code initiative that introduced over 20 million students to computer science. He has a computer science degree from Harvard.
